These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Dial4Fix governing your access to and use of our website www.dial4fix.com, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing, browsing, or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

These Terms are an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, as applicable, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records.

To use the services offered by Dial4Fix, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • If you are under 18 years of age, you may only use the Platform under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
  • You must not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform
  • Your use of the Platform must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept all responsibility for activity that occurs under your account

Dial4Fix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms.

4. Services Offered

Dial4Fix is an online platform that connects users seeking home and professional services with verified local service providers. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Home Repair & Maintenance: Plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman services
  • Appliance Services: AC repair, refrigerator repair, washing machine repair, TV repair
  • Cleaning Services: Home cleaning, deep cleaning, pest control
  • Beauty & Wellness: Salon services, spa services, personal grooming
  • Shifting & Moving: Packers and movers, furniture assembly
  • Technology Services: Computer repair, CCTV installation, IT support
  • Other Services: Any additional professional services listed on the Platform
Disclaimer: Dial4Fix acts as an intermediary platform connecting users with independent service providers. Dial4Fix does not itself provide any repair, maintenance, or other professional services.

5. Service Providers

Service providers listed on our Platform are independent professionals or businesses. By registering as a service provider on Dial4Fix, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your skills, qualifications, and experience
  • Maintain valid licenses, certifications, and insurance as required
  • Deliver services in a professional, timely, and workmanlike manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries and service requests promptly
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Not engage in any fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices
  • Maintain proper tools, equipment, and safety standards

6. Booking & Service Requests

When you make a booking or service request through the Platform:

  • You enter into a direct contract with the service provider, not with Dial4Fix
  • You must provide accurate details about the service required
  • Confirmation of a booking is subject to the availability of the service provider
  • Service providers may contact you directly to discuss scope, pricing, and scheduling

7. Payments & Pricing

Pricing

  • Prices are determined by individual service providers and may vary
  • All prices listed are indicative and may change without prior notice
  • Additional charges may apply for materials, spare parts, or emergency fees
  • Applicable taxes (GST and other levies) will be charged as per prevailing rates

Payment Methods

  • Payments may be made through UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, digital wallets, or cash
  • All online payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways
  • Dial4Fix does not store your full payment card details

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by User

  • You may cancel a booking at any time prior to the service provider arriving
  • No cancellation charges apply if done more than 2 hours before scheduled time
  • Late cancellations may attract a fee as determined by the service provider
  • Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions

Refunds

  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days to original payment method
  • Complaints must be raised within 48 hours of service completion
  • Dial4Fix reserves the right to determine refund amounts based on circumstances

9. User Conduct & Responsibilities

As a user of the Platform, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Treating service providers with respect and courtesy
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for service providers
  • Making timely payments for services rendered
  • Providing honest and fair reviews and ratings
  • Safeguarding your account credentials
  • Reporting issues or suspicious activities to Dial4Fix promptly

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Using the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
  • Impersonating any person or entity
  • Posting false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content
  • Attempting to bypass security features of the Platform
  • Using automated systems, bots, or scrapers
  • Engaging in harassment or abuse against users or service providers
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Soliciting service providers outside of the Platform to bypass Dial4Fix
Warning: Violation of these prohibited activities may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform is the property of Dial4Fix or its content suppliers and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

12. User Reviews & Ratings

By posting reviews on the Platform:

  • You grant Dial4Fix a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your review content
  • Your reviews must be based on genuine experience and be honest
  • You will not post fake reviews or reviews in exchange for payment

Dial4Fix reserves the right to remove any review at its sole discretion.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. DIAL4FIX MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dial4Fix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dial4Fix from any claims arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

16. Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. Dial4Fix has no control over and assumes no responsibility for third-party content, privacy policies, or practices.

17. Termination

Dial4Fix may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any breach of these Terms.

18. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

  3. Arbitration: Under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
  4. Jurisdiction: Courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction

19. Modifications to Terms

Dial4Fix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform.

20. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

21. Shipping & Delivery Policy

As Dial4Fix is a service-based platform:

  • Service Delivery: Services are delivered at the user's specified address
  • Service Time: Estimated times may vary based on work complexity
  • Service Area: Availability varies by location
  • Rescheduling: You will be notified and given the option to reschedule
  • Parts & Materials: Service providers will inform you about costs

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

  • Resolution within 30 days from date of receipt
